Hi Ramzy,

I had a similar issue with my spouse's passport (he had to get a new one as it expired). I received my PER on 15th February 2012 but have not received any feedback from LVO yet but I decided to send a copy of my spouse's new passport via email inquiry on the embassy's website stating my application number and the reason for the new document. You do not need to bring a new PCC as they also have a copy of your old passport, which was valid while you were in the countries, where you needed to get PCCs. So do not worry. I would just send a copy of your new passport and wait until they contact you in case they need anything else.

Good luck!

Hello miki27

Appreciate ur response, first I think our timelines are close, as I sent my application to CIO on 21 Decmeber 2011, and recieved PER on 24 Feb by email. I will do what u said i will send a copy of our new passports when i got them If GOD`s willing,by the way did u send by regular mail or email.

second, have u tried to contact them regarding if they recieve ur documents from CIO ,if so what is their email.....as i am about to ask them for that among other things.

Regarding the PCC, the one i sent have a mistake in it.....my wife`s date of birth is wrong.........and i thought to make a new one and send it to them but the problem is the PCC they issue in UAE is valid for 3 months only, and i dont think in this short time they will start processing my file and if my file goes through they might ask for a new PCC in 7 to 8 months so for a third time i have to apply for this PCC again.....what u think or shall i send them an email asking for directions....!!

regards

Hi Ramzy,

I have sent a case specific inquiry via email to the Canada High Commission in London. You can find more information here:

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/update-how_mettre-comment.aspx?view=d

I gave them all my details (application number, name, etc.) and informed them about the updated document (new passport). You can upload the scanned copy of the passport as an attachment to your inquiry.

Regarding the PCC, since it is only valid for 3 months, they will probably anyway ask for a new one once they are processing your application, so I would just wait until they request it. Otherwise you might get a new one now and it might not even be valid anymore by the time they need it from you.

I hope this helps. :)
