Change of name

Hello,

My first name is Sheeraz which goes with "ee" in my passport but in my certifications and degrees it goes with single 'e' which means Sheraz. My last name is Iqbal which is the same in my passport and degrees both.

Can anybody please confirm if there will be any objection from CIC regarding any letter missing in the first name (Sheeraz or Sheraz)?

Bro, It is up to the Visa Officer. People got rejections, but got accepted too. If you want to make it correct, then first apply for new SNIC with correct spelling, later apply for the passport again.

I had this problem too. Just swear an affidavit showing both names are the same with a letter of explanation. That should do. All the best
