Change of Marital Status during TRV Application

I am a Canadian PR who completed the soft landing and I am getting married in two weeks.

I realized that my fiance might find it difficult to get a TRV if she applies for it after we get married.

So is it possible for her to start her application process, pay the fees now and then complete the biometrics after the wedding?

Will this affect her TRV application or her future spousal visa application?
