Change of Employer of Dependent on Canada PR

We received an invitation and applied for Canada PR in July 2019 under express entry. I am not the primary applicant on the application and we did not receive any points for my employment. I have changed my employer last month. Do we have to update our PR application with my new employment?

I am not sure because it does not affect the eligibility of our application?
