Hi Everyone,
I am facing a very critical scenario and little helpless and thought may be someone from here might be able to give me an advice:

My sponsorship application for my mom and younger brother was approved in 2009 and sent to Singapore office.
2012 Singapore asked me to complete a DNA test to prove the relationship between my mom and younger brother. Everything was done accurately and laboratory sent the confirmation on DNA email in August 2013 to Singapore office.
Now here is the problem:
My mom got her Green Card because my sister who is American citizen, applied and my mom decided to move to USA. In the mean time, my younger brother got a scholarship and moved to Canada to finish his Masters Degree. So in September, we sent the email telling Singapore embassy about the address and immigration status change for both of them. Now when I go cic website, I dont see any status at all and I dont know what's going on and what to do. I dont know whats going on and what to expect and where my mom's file will go to and ho should I contact to get an update. I am stuck in a limbo!!

Does anyone here experience this kind of situation and give me a heads up? I am little frustrated and would appreciate some help.
Thank you
Tanvir

Hi

The file doesn't go anywhere, even with the change in country of residence. It stays to be processed at the Singapore office.

If you can't access ECAS, don't worry. It does that sometimes but it will come back, just wait a few days. It happens quite often, as you'll see if you look through the threads for the past few weeks.

You can send a Case Specific Enquiry to Singapore https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=singapore

My brother told me that, for a brief moment it the file showed as "Withdrawn" and now it disappeared. Should I be worried?

I suggest you send a CSE to inquire. If you don't hear back, you can ask your MP to inquire for you.

I second asking your MP for help.
Did you tell the visa office your mother no longer wanted to immigrate to Canada? In which case, her application would have been withdrawn, and so would the application of your brother, since he was being sponsored as a dependent of your mother.

Yes, I already emailed my local MP, let see as right now parliament is open. The email we sent for change of address, there were no mention of "We are cancelling this application" type of wording, what so ever. It was just the file number, change of address info for my mom in USA and brother in Canada and also mention of change of immigration status of my mom and brother (since he came to Canada and hence applied for Canadian student visa, I am guessing they had all info already).
My brother told me it showed first for cpl of days" Decision Made" then went to "Withdrawn" and point blank. I am so confused!!
