Change of address

Hi Everyone,

Simple question, may seem silly..

I recently moved into my own place 3 months ago here in Canada, but I haven't changed my address in ecas / CIC yet, as my old address is just a few minutes away (my cousin's house) and I don't want to complicate matters while my husband's application is in process.

Now that his visa has been issued, I want to update the address already but I'm thinking if the address change request will be done in the system before my hubby lands here, as he needs to give my current address in the landing interview for mailing his PR card. I'm just worried that CIC might compare and not match the two addresses.. Just being paranoid I guess..

Any thoughts? Thanks! ;D

Just call them and you moved out your cousin's since your husband visa was issued Then they'll change your address!
My visa hasn't been issued, but they just registered my address wrong, so I called them and they just changed it right away. I believe as long as your address is changed to in a different country or province, it doesn't make anything more complicated.
