Change of address in INDIAN Passport

Hi Everyone,

I recently started to fill up my application for CEC and i found a minor spelling mistake in my permanent address on Indian passport

Now if i change my address(by applying to consulate of India) and submit my CEC application does this impact my Background verification/ creates any other issue

If it is minor spelling mistake, better not attempt it.

I am applying from Canada , but my permanent address is Indian one (which i am planning apply for change of address @ Indian consulate Toronto)

Why don’t you just attach a justification letter about mistake and get it notarized?

Why bother? CIC doesn't care about addresses in passports.
