Hello,

I will be travelling outside of Canada for some time - I currently have an INLAND PNP application in progress.
If I change my address for an address outside of Canada, how will this affect my application and PPR?
Where will I ask to send the passport/how will it be sent back to me?

I still have an address in Canada any my roommate can forward me any mail when needed, that is why I was quite hesitant to change it since I do not want CIC to think that I do no longer want to live in Canada.

Thank you for all your help!

The only mail you could ever receive before PPR is the request for fingerprints (but if you were asked to give your Canadian PCC, you had to do that already). Other than that if your whole family is from visa exempt country, you will be asked to upload your photo and you will then receive your COPR letter. And with it you can do your landing.

But I heard that for inland applicants, COPR is delivered to Canadian address only. That is why I do not know what would happen if my address was outside Canada.

ok COPR letter is not a letter that is sent against signature. Funny thing is, that they send it as a common letter (registered at best).
So you can ask either your roommate or you can inform them, that you address has changed - which might delay the whole process a little bit).
Good luck.
