I have a question about changing my first name.
I am a permanent resident, living in Ontario since August 2013 and I'll apply to obtain my citizenship very soon.
I want to remove a prefix from my first name which makes my first name too long and very hard to pronounce.
My question is when is a good time to change it?
Now?
After getting my citizenship certificate?
After getting my passport?
Is it necessary to change my PR Card after the name change, then apply for the citizenship?
I really appreciate if you answer me :)

My advice is to change it before you apply for citizenship, you'll save time and money.

Not sure about the PR card,
