Hello Guys, My name is Praveen. First of all, Happy new year to y'all. ;D

I came to Ontario in September intake and I want to change the school to "Red River" in Manitoba. I know that CIC allows us to change the school/province without notifying them or changing the visa permit. But the actual problem here is, the program I intend to do is starting on September 2015.

Now,
• Can I just apply for the college and get withdrawn from my current college and wait till september?
• I want to know if it is okay, if I don't study/go to school till then!!
• Can I work in the mean time?
• Can I move to Manitoba instead of waiting here in Ontario?

Please help with additional needed information too. THanks alot guys

"As of June 1, 2014, all study permit holders in Canada will need to actively pursue studies. This means that:

if you hold a study permit, you must remain enrolled and make reasonable and timely progress towards completing your program; and
failing to do so could lead to your removal from Canada.

Your educational institution will report to CIC on your continued enrolment and academic status. You may also be asked by an immigration officer to provide evidence of your continued enrolment and academic status"

Am really sorry for the late reply.
The program I want to get into is starting in September. So what would you suggest me to do? I don't want to pay the fee to the current college I am in right now as I know that it would be in waste. Please guide me. can I just apply to the Red river College and wait till September holding the Admit letter? If not, What should I be doing???

I would be glad to get some suggestions.

Thank you,
Praveen Kumar.
