Hello everyone!

I have a pretty specific question here, so I will give a bit of background.

I applied for BCPNP earlier this year, and got approved with my current company.

I then received my ITA for PR, and sent my application on July 2nd (EE FSW-CEC).

In the meantime, I have been contacted to start a new job, and was wondering if this could be risky? (I am legally entitled to work for this new company, as I have an open work permit in the meantime)

I am afraid that because my PNP is linked to my current employer, if I change my employer, this will delay, or even worse - make me ineligible for PR.

Please let me know if you have any suggestion/answer for me!!

Thank you so much

did you get 600 points for the PNP?
if the PNP is employer specific, you got points for it and then an ITA based off those points, changing jobs would mean you need to withdraw that PR application. The points you got for the PNP would no longer be valid if you leave the job you got them from.

I did receive the 600 points for the PNP.

I was afraid that would be the answer... Well, thank you for confirming this, I will stick around with my company until my application is finished.
