Can u tell how cic give you updates to your application? Post the link if possible

From updates, I mean if status has updated to dispatched on tracking website or visa approval email . There is no other way to check the file processing steps. Once application reached at CIC for processing , they will update status to passport dispatched after making a decision.

I applied it on 14th November, visitor visa. Does they send approval mail all the times?
