chances of student visa

hello friends ;D. i have got loa from a university in british columbia in post bacc diploma in accounting (2 years). i am mcom and chartered accountant. i sincerely desire to have knowledge of canadian accounting and tax system in order to start outsourcing of accounts work from india (many indian ca firms are doing that ). please tell the chances of student visa, my details are

ielts 7 bands
education loan : 15 lacs
funds around : 32 lacs ( including loan of 15 lac above )
academics : chartered accountant , mcom (gold medal .. 75%)

do i attract study mismatch issue (cause i am post graduate already ).. actually i wanna learn canadian accounting standards which are not taught anywhere in my home country. please share your opinion.

You have a very good academics, and certainly it going to play big role in your visa success. As it's quite evident that Canadian Embassy pays too much focus on applicant's academics credentials. Even you have sufficient fund (here I am talking only about Certified Bank Loan which is always much preferred over bank balance as the same is conclusive and verifiable)

But I have something to ask you:
Your proposed study, as I understood it's in University of British Columbia, is a ‘Post bacc Diploma in Accounting'. Can you please tell us if it's a Post Graduate Diploma level course? I believe it's a professional qualification (not a generalist one). I do not think if you have anything like ‘Study Mismatch'.

hello enfield. my university is IN british columbia ..that is thompson rivers university. they offer post baccaleureate diplomas in accounting . the diploma i am going for is for those who hold a bachelors degree and hence its a post graduate course ..mate.

and yes enfield ..the post bacc diploma in accounting is specific course and not general one as many accounting field students join it .. and later do canadian cga , ca or cma . other members also kindly share your opinions on the above case. thanks in advance .
