Pretty much zero unless you commit a crime that would make you inadmissible.

Good to know! May be I am just overthinking because I sent passport to CIC which is expiring in two months so little paranoid!

When do you plan on doing the landing? Likely they'll approve your PR, but your timeframe for landing will be before the passport expires.

I will do it on the day I receive my passport because I live close to border. So hoping they will send my passport asap

It usually takes 7-14 days for them to process it and mail it back.

Mine they received on 7th June! So I am hoping to have it back by 20th! What you think..

Yeah! Fingers crossed and to be precise my passport expiry is second week of August so I should be fine I believe

Anyone faces rejection after passport request! I don't have access to my online account so I am checking my status by calling CIC self serve option everyday but no progress so kinda worried?
