There are two things that often confused many members
1. Background Check
2. Security Background Check
Background checks: Background checks usually started any time before Medical, the background check insist of (Education,Job,POF,Adaptability etc) on the basis of six Selection Criteria, if VO not Satisfy with any thing he may be call you for interview or if he satisfied he can waive your interview. After taking Positive Selection Decision VO may request Medical+RPRF+Updated Docs+PCC. After getting Medical your Background checks completed. there is no reason to re visit the background checks again.
Security Background Checks: After completion of Medical successfully and submitting all required docs from VO, your Background Security Checks initiated, these checks usually done by Canadian Secrete agencies for your safe admission in the soil of Canada. In which they can check your background against Terrorism, espionage and Criminality in any country as well as in home country. Once security background checks completed you can get PPR request.
nothing is predictable. i have seen my caips note. my everthing was clear...they hold my document for 1 yerar year. after 1 year they asked me send my pp,rprf, medical. everything was sent on July 1st week, 2012. still i m not getting any response. i sent 2 case sp enquiries..they didnt response. ecas not updated at all, even i requested them to change mailing add... 10th month running after medical...how long it takes..i dont know.
