Chances of refusal

I have got conditional acceptance from saint mary's university for diploma engneering until i proof my english proficiency , and they offered me me to take esl courses (english for academic purpose) in the university ( saint mary language center )so i paid first course fees and got accepted in the esl program . I heard doing esl istead of ielts will cause high chance for visa refusal

IELTS is much better than esl,
Even if you wll do IELTS before admission and put it in your visa file, it will give a good impact in your case moreover, VO will came to know about language abilities.
youre right there are higher chances of refusal if you dont do IELTS.

Thx for your quick reply but most of the arabian people do esl courses because thier main language is arabic and they get accepted
