Hi all,

I just basically wanted to see if anyone knew if there would be a chance of me getting any job offers that are LMIA approved with my work experience so I can immigrate from the UK?

I have a degree in Law but worked as a Buying Assistant (NOC 6222 - skill level B) for 18 months but I wasn't sure which one would be easier to follow? If it means I have to get more work experience in Buying or if it's worth me doing an LPC would this help at all?

Thanks!

Chances are unfortunately very low. The vast majority of employers aren't willing to go through the LMIA process.

as per your other posts you need to get to Canada on the IEC program and go from there as employers are really only interested in people actually in Canada. Being in the country is the only way to assess which direction to take although pursuing the law route might be a stretch without any work experience in that field. Whatever your plan is be prepared financially on the IEC for an initial period maybe a few months without work as you may still have to get over the lack of Canadian experience hurdle still put up by some employers.

Thanks for your help! :). Is it worth me trying to get legal experience in England in the mean time then?
