Chances of immigration

I'm absolutely new to this and I went for an IELTS test: Reading: 7, Speaking: 7.5, Listening: 7, Writing: 6.5
I have over 8 years of experience in Programming (IT) and have a bachelor's degree. Will someone be kind enough to let me know if I'm eligible and % of chance I have to immigrate to Canada.

I want to apply under FSW and I have no job offer from Canada. I already work online in 2 companies and do not need a job in Canada.

You seem eligible to apply based on the information you have provided. No one can tell you what the % is that you will be successful.

FSW is closed since Jan 2015. All such appllications are routed through Express Entry

No... anybody with or without job offer can apply for EE. CIC select applications from the pool according to recent job market and trade requirements and send them Expression of Interest then the rest of te process is somewhat similar to FSW only.

Also should I apply myself or should I ask a consultant to help, I've heard they charge quite a bit, if the process is simple I would apply myself

It's your choice whether you apply with a consultant or on your own.

If you apply on your own, you will have to do some reading and research to understand how to apply. You can find this information here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/express/express-entry.asp

If you would prefer that someone else handle the reading and research, then it would be a good idea to hire a consultant.
