Chances of getting visa under SPP????

Hi all,

I got offer letter from Fanshawe College(diploma in Internet appl.ns and web development). Please look at my academic percentages:
10th--83.3, inter--- 89.9, b.tech(cse)---56.1(9 back logs). IELTS---6.5(s-5.5, w-5.5, r-7, l-7)
I completed my btech in 2008 and i've worked for 9 months in a software company from sept'2008 to may'2009 and 2.6 years in Amazon.com as customer service associate from nov'2009 to may'2012.
As i want to move from tech support to software side i choose this diploma course. I paid the 1 year fee and paid money for GIC. I want to file the visa application in next 10 days. What are my chances of getting visa? do i've to include the SOP?? other than the spp check list??

Is it a PG course ?
IF its not PG then after B.Tech, Diploma from Canada I doubt ur approval from VO.
High chances they will consider course mismatch.

it is diploma only. It is related to my graduation. But i learnt from the forum is it is not a problem to go for diploma after graduation if it is related. i want include the reasons in SOP. but my doubt is can i include the SOP as i'm applying under SPP???

yes u should give SOP and u can show reasons for backlogs and ur work experience frm 2008 till nw. and i have heard ppl go for diploma course aftr a degree but then u have to show strong reson y r u choosing dis course? m not an expert bit that is all wat i have seen ppl doing and getting visas. my only concern is wat will u say about ur backlogs....

i want to tell the truth that i did not concentrated on the study at that time. but after working in the company like Amazon.com i've motivated my self and want to move to software side and choose this course..

i want to explain them in this way... is it correct???

yes u r right but the present scenario has changed a lot.......not getting any idea to apply for a diploma after a bachler........

Dude...diploma after graduation...huh..you have to really work hard on your SOP..
May be it's a kind of mismatch as diploma after graduation seems uncommon to me..
rest depend on CHC..
normally ppl go for PG after graduation.

i'll try my level my best. there is lot of people who got the visa for diploma after their M.tech also. i read that in this forum only. all is well.........hope for the best.....thanks all. going to file the appl.n next Thursday.

i was doing degree in VFX film making but i was unable to get international exposure as i expected so i dropped it after 1year6months
hence my results for the first year was still awaited i gave them the letter head of my college as a proof.
so i applied to conestoga college for the same course from my agent THE CHOPRAS.
i applied on 17th of june
hope ill get the visa

hi,

this ajay 33 yrs old i want to take 2yrs diploma/masters in canada for feb intake i have gap 10yrs after studies and i have 5 years gap in between. now i have been working as senior analyst in MNC for past 5 years on GIS(Geographical information systems) domain and my canada work permit rejected in 2011.

MCA 60% 2005
BCA 69.5% 2002
12th 68.5% 1999
10th 71% 1997

i would like to take the admission on same domain my question is which way is suitable for me either regular or spp what are chances of getting visa under SPP. please guide me in all directions
