Chances of getting Study visa for Jan 10

Hi i m sunny frm india, got acceptance letter from GBC in Post graduation Certificate of 1 year in Financial Services. paid full fee in advance 11,410 cad dollars. cleared bank loan of 5 lakhs frm HDFC. SHown 5 lakhs as 1 year expenses for Canada in bank.

today wen i was filling the form i saw a coloum in wich they asked applied for PR or any other visa before..

in 2008 yes i applied for PR n luckily got File # but my profession not in occupation list so i need to wait for 3-4 years.


so if i write no i will be in trouble n if i write yes will i be in trouble as in visa papers i haven't shown that i m already an MBA ... but in mine PR profile i am an MBA will it create a problem or the study visa pplz doesn't match any documents with PR pplz .

also

Got 5 yrs exp in space selling as mgr business development. here my complete profile n do tell me whether have a chance of getting visa under SPP or not ... !!!

10th - 55%
12th - 50%
B.com - 40%
Exp - 5 + yrs
PR - applied in 2008

Course going for is Marketing Management in Financial Services

Past Exp - Space Selling Marketing


do tell me where i am goin rong or shuld i leave it on GOD coz i cant cheat with Canadian Embassy !!!

Of course, DONT CHEAT. Even if you do they would most probably find out. You should tell them that you applied for PR and that you are MBA.

yh i agree .. coz nevertheless they will find out by there system ... so i m sticking to truth ... c wat happens ... full faith in GOD

Your PR application is in the system. Now what you need to do is convince the visa officer that you will be going back to India once your 1-year PG certificate studies is over, because you have a PR application presumably in progress.

so u think i had a chance that the visa officer can call me for an interview ...

as well as I am already an MBA wich was part time .. will it effect my case coz they might think i may be overqualified for Post Graduate Certificate Course ???????

What I meant was you have to be able to convince the visa officer that you are going back to India after your one year of study. Because you have a Permanent Residency application in progress I think it might be a bit difficult not see that you want to stay and remain in Canada after your course is over. So your work is cut out for you. You have to justify why you want to take your course in Canada, why it would be beneficial to you when you go back to India. You have to demonstrate enough strong ties in India that you would want to go back to.
