Chances of getting Student visa for 1 yr PG course after more than 5 yrs of Gap

I am from India. I did my B.Tech in Information Technology in 2011. I visited Canam New Delhi to query about 1 year PG diploma for Sept 2017 intake. Their consultant told me that I am not eligible to apply for 1 year PG diploma as I did my last degree in 2011 which is more than 5 years Study Gap. I got 75% in B.Tech (no backlogs). I am working as a software developer since 2011.

Please advise me if there are chances to get Study Visa for 1 year PG course. I am looking for Computer Application Development Co-op or IT Business Analysis Course from Conestoga College in Canada.

If you have been working it's not considered as gap. My relative got visa in spp with 7+ years of experience. Dhan a member on this forum recently got his visa with 6+ years of experience. So, good luck. Cheers

I'm about to apply study permit for 2017 fall intake (bookkeeping/accounting at Algonquin) and here is my condition: graduated as Bach. of Economics in 2003, working as administration staff from 1997-2007, resigning due to having birth of my 2nd son and becoming freelance translator from 2007 until now. What is my chance of getting a SOP? TIA.
