Thanks for the info!
My CGPA is 7.5/10 (70%) and CPI is 7.3 (68%) - Distinction. IELTS score is 7.5. Do I stand a good chance here? I hope applying late doesn't hamper.
You have high chances of getting into UNB. But apply as soon as possible because registration has already started for new students.

Thanks for the reply! I paid application fees on 5th April and I received student number on 10th April, with application status changed to this: "Thank you for submitting your completed application. Please note there may be outstanding supporting documents we require to complete the assessment of your application." I wonder if there is any documents pending really. I had mailed them asking about documents and they said that electronic copies for resume, transcript, IELTS score and reference letters are enough for them to review application and I'd need to mail transcripts and IELTS score only if I get admitted.

How much time do they take to process application and give decision?

An email was sent to me from UNB on 7th Jan stating that my application package (all documents transcript, marksheets, etc. except official IELTS score card) has been received by them. And I got an acceptance email on 8th March. So, they took almost 2 months to give their final decision. You have to be patient. I don't know how much about ECE dept. But I feel that your profile will help you to get into UNB.
