Hello!Hi.
I am planning to take a 9-month diploma program on Audio Engineering and Music Production from this college in Vancouver called Harbourside Institute of Technology. I am aiming for eventual permanent residence if all goes well.
Best case scenario: I could get a 9-month PGWP, get a permanent job offer, and eventually be nominated thru BC PNP for PR.
Worst case sceario: I apply for another study permit and take a 1 year diploma/certificate program in a public college either in BC or Ontario.
What are your thoughts on this ?
I plan to do something very similar. I want to apply to SAE, Vancouver next year for an Audio Engineering and Music Production program. I was wondering if you went through with the course and if so, could you get a PGWP from this course? Also, I was thinking I could use the course to boost my crs application to 'two or more degrees/certificates/diplomas' (I already have a 4 year bachelors), get points for studying in Canada, and finally get PR through the express entry program, after the course. What are your thoughts on this plan?
