Hello,
I recently got refusal for canada study permit. I wants to know that what are the chances in reapplying for same college and program

College - George Brown electromechanical engineering technician

Academic -12th 62.30%
B.tech electrical cgpa 6.09(53.4%) with 2backlogs
Ielts 6.5 no less than 5.5

Need urgent suggestions,

1. Probably not that good, as you already have degree in that discipline and now want to take a lower level course.

At the time of applying for the program I was not aware about it. My consultant told me that it is a good program and student easily gets a job easily,but when I came to know about drawbacks of diploma for UG students time had gone to apply for university.
I don't know what to do now :'( . Actually I did not fill refund form yet should I go for the general category to reapply. I mean what are the chances if you know anyone who visa on second attempt.

try applying to university (windsor for example)
people get visa on their second try just as frequently. just make sure you write up an explanation letter when you reapply. give them as much detail as possible as to why you are a genuine student
