I applied today for my study permit under SPP in CHC CHD..My details are as follows :-

1.) 10th - 89.2 %
2.) 12th( Non Medical)- 77 %
3.) IELTS - 7 overall (R-8, L-8, W-5.5, S-6)
4.) Education loan of Rs 9 lakhs from Punjab and Sind Bank against FDR's of 10 Lacs.
5.) Already paid fee reciept of Rs 3.6 lakhs
6.) Applied for Sheridan College, Toronto
7.) Course - Computer Engineering Technology- 3 Years ( Co op) ( post secondary)
8.) 1 year fee is 13500 $

Documents attached were my medical results, a strong SOP ( covering almost all the reasons responsible for rejection ), Cover page, visa forms, offer letter from college, wire transfer receipt, fee invoice, original sanction letter from Bank, DMC of 10th ,12th and their passing certificates, Ielts result, original passport, photocopy of passport and all documents notary attested.

Also to bring to notice my dad applied for P.R. in 2002 and 2009, in both the cases I was a dependant. The first got refused and the other one was refunded. So i mentioned both the file nos in the forms and wrote that my father applied and I was just a dependant and never directly applied for any canadian visa .

This is all about me. So now ur opinion about how much chances do I have in getting a visa.Thnxx !

will dat have an effect ?

May be.. because I've seen one applicant going for the same course but he wasn't having computers in high school & was refused. The reason was 'studies mismatch'. But I've seen one more applicant who got it. Your academics are good and Visa approval chances are high these days so you might get it. :)

As you don't have any gap during studies and you do have good academic scores, it seems you are good to go. Also you have mentioned about the PR that your dad applied for very neatly so thats nothing to worry about either. So I would like to assume you should not have any issue getting Visa.

Well you cannot generalise it as such. It depends on ur particular application. If you have a good academic and employment record.Even married persons get a visa and even single individuals due to poor academic record and gaps b/w study and employment get rejected!
