Hi, my huband is currently waiting for the interview date for his permanent resident visa, and now we are applying for his temporary resident visa for a duration of four months to be present for the birth of our baby. what is the chance of getting tvr for this reason.? the babys birth is the main reaon of his visit. anyone?well we included whatever supporting documents needed for the applicaton too......what do you think?thanks

the chance to get visitors visa is slim, but it is always worth a try. just collect all required proof and file the application, you might be lucky to get the visa stamped.

Send proof tht he will return after the delivery, u need to show money in bank account,
Also show return ticket and send ur acknowledgement letter tht has ur file number ,
Drs note stating ur pregnant n wen ru due and stating tht ur alone in Canada n u need ur husband for delivery.

Hope this helps.
Best of luck for ur baby n TRV for ur husband.

Well, good luck. Some people on the forum have gotten a TRV after applying for the PR. They sent in proof that they had applied for the PR, as well as all the other proof you need for the TRV (return ticket, money in the bank, proof of ties to homeland, etc.). They stressed that they just wanted to visit for some good reason (baby's birth seems like a good reason to me), knew they would have to leave when the TRV said, and wanted to abide by all the rules so as not to harm the processing of the PR visa.

It is not impossible, so I would try.

Thank you guys for the response. I am crossing my fingers!
