That'e exactly my point! Please read again my post carefully, and the OP.OMG_Chakromakro said:your right they can work BUT, Quote :
although they are permitted to engage in full-time work during a regularly scheduled break between academic sessions, they work no more than 20 hours per week during a regular academic session; or
(w) if they are or were the holder of a study permit who has completed their program of study and
(i) they met the requirements set out in paragraph (v), and
(ii) they applied for a work permit before the expiry of that study permit and a decision has not yet been made in respect of their application.

Exactly ! so that means the implied status applies to the person who is already working on PGWP and doesn't works for students who have just finished their studies and have applied for PGWP their Experience will only be counted from the date they received their PGWP.evanstp9 said:In regards to your question, see here:
Note: Work experience acquired while under implied status will be considered as eligible work experience under the CEC, provided the applicant continued to work in Canada under the same conditions as their original work permit until a decision was made on their application for a work permit extension.

I would interpret the above as you don't have an original work permit (although allowed to work without one, AFTER you apply for PGWP), thus the implied status experience will not be eligible.
It would be if after 1-3 years your PGWP has expired, you have applied for a work permit extension (let's say a closed work permit), and you wait for the outcome, still working under the implied status.
You too started working before applying for PGWP?OMG_Chakromakro said:that is a common confusion , because many people including myself start working right after they graduate , reason is they don't know any better as your SIN Expires on the day your study permit expires so technically no one detects/notes a problem in that , in my case i had my study permit valid one more year after my studies were done.
yep. as i said this is a common confusion i know many people who did start before they had applied for their PGWP aand right after graduation , and i have seen people accepting ITA on here and getting on with it , even i have seen 1 or 2 cases on here where they have received PR based on this as well .omarimam said:You too started working before applying for PGWP?
yes , I did not know that we cannot start before applying for PGWP and so I started , also I did not wanted to say NO to the employer because I could have lost the chance of getting a job and technically I was done with my studies , had transcripts in my hand.omarimam said:What is surprising to me that you started working before applying for PGWP. I didn't know that it was allowed.
Thanks
