you are so funny.....actually got a score of band 8 in International english language testing system examination and also sat for CELPIP for the purpose of applying for Permanent residency here,since it had been over 2 years( by the way sitting for an exam also means writing it, just like challenging an exam) in which i got 'advanced proficiency' in all the 4 parameters of testing.
But hey thanks for that little gesture...you opened up the dictionary for me and took the pain to go through that definition(but you also empowered yourself with a new word)......lol,childish,but cute.

jokes apart, do you know anything about skilled trade licensing exam? Not the definition,but rules & requirements.

FYI - To those of us born in Canada, "challenging" an exam means formally disagreeing with the results of an exam and asking for the results to be reviewed / reassessed. The word "challenging" isn't used as an equivalent to "writing" or "sitting" or "taking".
When I read your first post I assumed you were asking if it was possible to formally complain about how your certification exam was evaluated/marked.

I am from Trades.Not born in Canada but picked up this phrase from Canada used by Canadian institutes on their official and legal Canadian websites

AND that was my question precisely at the start of the thread.Please dont skim.Peruse before you conclude.Or as Canadians say,dont jump the gun

Well i was a senior plumbing technician in my home country and pretty much assisted the project manager.we would do new construction plumbing in high rises commercial spaces from plant room piping,booster pumps,fire protection piping,sprinkler installation,washrooms etc to home renovation( on smaller scale though) I was in charge of that wing. Here i worked with a high-rise mechanical plumbing contractor for a year, did a bit of pipelining as well,a relatively newer technology in canada( growing fast) but huge in the US.
And i have been approved by the Ontario College of trades to challenge the licensing exam,after they assessed my experience and talked to my employers.
Hey can you tell me if Federal Skilled Trades Class is still open? I will qualify if I pass this test.any link you can forward for checking the count on applications?I called Cic a few minutes ago and they said it was still open.But I wanna see where the cap stands.

I worked on a post graduate work permit for a year in plumbing.its a regulated skilled TRADE(noc B 7251) but I worked with and under the supervision of licensed master plumbers.I hired immigration consultants for my case but unfortunately they turned out to be dumb as a rock.they have no idea about the trades, just a bunch of unskilled/semi skilled women clad in business suits in downtown toronto,posing as sophisticated professionals( as professional as my shit)My only mistake that has almost cost me my career is that I trusted them with eyes shut.Now paying the price.
