The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, or CETA, is a trade agreement between the EU and Canada.
They say it will be a mutual recognition of qualifications and this will include healtcare diplomas.
Any opinion on that? How will this mutual recognition work and when will it take place?
Are there any news in Canada about this?

CETA seems to be basis for such recognition to happen. But. It is up to regulation bodies, provinces and individual countries of EU to hit the deal. (For example Ontario would accept Engineers from France and Germany, but not from Denmark and Spain. Manitoba would decide to accept all licenced professions from Portugal, or for example all dentis assotiations will come to gether and will agree to accept dentist from Hungary in any province).
CETA will also push for something called recommendations (it would be good idea to do this and that recognition), but again it is up to the regulatory body and province to decide to accept such thing to happen.
It is a good step, but somehow it will create bulky maze of what is accepted where and what is not.
So far CETA is still young and negotiation will have to take place in order to get more mutual agreement (there may exist some already).
