Dear officer,
I'm applying for PR under family sponsor and common law class, I don't understand what kind of documents are requested to be certified, if a copy will be submitted.
For example, the sponsor's PR card & SIN card, the proof of joint account/bill, and all other documents that are not original?
Second question is, am I requested to submit my parents' notarized birth certificates, even though they are not included in the application? It's really hard for them to get one, since the notary office asked them to go to their birth city to apply for the certificates.
Third question, I'm a Chinese working in a country other than Canada or China. My mother did all notarization and mailed to Toronto, including marriage certificate, birth certificate, police certificate, only except my national ID certificate. The Chinese local notary office must request the applicant's presence to get it. But for me, it will costs money and time. So I was thinking, am I allow submitting a self-translated copy of my Chinese ID card, along with the copy in Mandarin.
Thanks so much for your help.
