hello everyone! :)
just a quick question, do i have to get someone to certify all photocopies of original documents even if it doesn't say so? for instance our marriage certificate, does that need to be certified or no? it does not say so on the document checklist, however as i was reading in Guide 3900, there is a section about certified true copies and who can do it... but does not state what needs to be certified. just want to make sure i don't need to do this to any of my photocopied documents before sending it all off! thanks so much everyone. can't wait to get this application in, we're only waiting on my police certificate and my husbands notice of assessment then we're ALL DONE finally!

if all your documents are in english, certified true copies aren't necessary. it's when the documents are in a different language that this is necessary.

also, check your country specific guide, if certified true copies of any documents aren't mentioned in that, then you're good to go with standard photocopies as long as everything is legible.
