Certified Translation of Birth Certificate

I am applying for CEC inside Canada. I ahve a Certified Birth Certificate Translation from my origin country. Is it acceptable? or it has to be translated by a translator inside Canada?

It doesn't have to be translated by a translator in Canada, it can be certified from your country.

you can use it, but you have to get an affidavit from the translator (if you don't already have one).
