I am the spouse of a CEC applicant, and now they need my certified RCMP criminal clearance based on figerprint.
I already left canada and stay in china now, so i would rather completing it in China. The RCMP websites says that only paper forms of Fingerprinting is acceptable from outside of canada and it will take 11 weeks to process it , however the immigration office only give me 8 weeks.
here is my question
a. i was told that i can ask the immigration office for a extending and then I'm able to do it in china. Does anyone know if China police force provide fingerprint services and have the forms for non-criminal purposes?
b. my visa will be expired in this May, does the custom officer in airport will reject me getting into canada due to this reason?
c. my passort is expired in this may as well, and i extended it once five years ago, so am i able to extend it again? If I apply a new passport, of course it will be blank, does it gonna bring me any inconvenience during the following processes.

appreciate for your helping

Hi there,

I recently got help from Worldwide Forensic Services Inc. (fingerscan.ca)

My spouse lives in Australia and needed police clearance from Canada. We contacted Worldwide Forensic Services, they emailed us the forms. My spouse got his fingerprints taken in Australia and sent them to this company. This company scanned those fingerprints with cardscan technology and submitted them to the RCMP electronically. The RCMP processed application in just 4 hours and my spouse received the clearance letter in a couple of days. We were amazed by this service.

Hi, Thanks.

I don't understand how that recognize the fingerprint you sent belongs to your spouse, and where did your spouse take the fingerprint?

Could you tell me more about it?

Thank you for your time,

China is a big country :) If you are in Beijing, there is information on the US Embassy's website about places that provide fingerprinting services.

f you are not in Beijing, then perhaps you could be more specific about your location so that people can help you.
