Certified Photocopies

Hi,

Thanks for reading my post.

I am currently gathering my parent's documents. At this stage, I see I will have to send them

my birth certificate
My parent's passport copies
My marriage certificate
My and spouse's PR copies


Do we need to get all the above papers notarized ?

The instructions on the immigration site mentioned:

Must print the following on the photocopy:

• “I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
• the name of the original document,
• the date of the certification,
• his or her name,
• his or her official position or title, and
• his or her signature.

Does that apply to all my photocopies?

As far as im aware if the originals are in english or french you just send a photocopy no notary required
