Hi Everyone,

I read on the CEC application guild that copies of your national IDs, Household registration booklet needs to be submitted with English/French translation. They also ask for Certified Copy for those documents.

Anyone submitted or about to submit them? The copies need to be certified?

Thanks a lot!

As per my understanding if your national documents are in regional language, you need to get them translated and submit these three things:

1. Translated Document
2. Affidvadit from the person who translated the document
3. Certified copy of the original document (in regional document)
a. What this means is that take a photocopy of the original document, go to Notary or oath commisionor and tell them to write 'I certify that this is true copy of the Original Document', 'Document Name', 'Date of certification', 'his name' , 'position', 'stamp'
