I am filling up the forms for Alberta PNP. I was wondering what they mean by certified copy of documents. Is it like getting it signed by some designated officer. If that is the case then could some one tell me who in the USA can certify these documents.
Thanks

Yes, it needs to be signed by somebody who verifies that it's a true copy. In Canada they have registries for car registration, drivers licenses and other stuff, commissioner of oaths for signing things etc. so they can certify copies too. I do not know what you have similar to this in the US. You can try going to a regular photocopy place and ask them if they know where you can get cerfified copies.

Most banks have a notary public and is free, I went to bank of America for my copies.
