I'm really confused. And the more I read the more confused I get, so maybe someone can clarify this for me once and for all.
It says that all copies need to be certified.... does this mean that the photocopy of the passport needs to be signed by someone who certifies things??
My marriage certificate and my husband's birth certificate is in Spanish. We are to submit an original certified translation of them both and a copy of the original. Do the copies of the original spanish certificates need to be certified too?
Do I need to certify my copies of my passports (I'm the sponsor) proving my entries into the country??
Is it sufficient enough for me to submit the following:
- Marriage certificate (original translation into English + a photocopy (as is) of the original marriage certificate that has been legalized).
- a photocopy of my husband's complete passport as is (he's the applicant)
- birth certificate (Original translation into English + a photocopy (as is) of his birth certificate (in spanish) that has been legalized
- Police check (Original translation into English + original police certificate in Spanish)
- a photocopy of my complete passport(s) (I'm the sponsor).
Is this ok?????? Or do my copies of the passport need to be certified? In the end they're going to get his passport anyway to put in the visa, so is it necessary to get a certified copy?? I'm hearing so many different things and getting confused, so if you can clarify I would be very grateful. Thank you!
