Hello everyone,

I searched the forum for a similar post but couldn't find one.

I received a request for police certificate and a certified copy of my child's birth certificate. Can someone please clarify how I would upload an original birth certificate? If I'm uploading a document onto GCkey then obviously it's a scanned copy, so would that have to certified? I don't understand at all what they mean by certified. Please if you can give me any information it will be helpful.

Police Certificate: Please provide an original police clearance certificate UAE This must
be received at this office by: 2018/08/08

 Birth registration/certificate: If a copy is provided it must be certified. The birth certificate must state the names of the child's mother and father. This must be received at this office by: 2018/08/08

Make a photocopy of the birth certificate, and take it to a notary or a justice of the peace along with the original and have them certify the photocopy. Then you can scan and upload the certified copy.
