Certificate of qualification - no points

Hello, I have already submitted an EE profile and a little bothered since I didn't get any points for "Certificate of Qualification in a Trade and Language Ability" which is a skill transferability factor despite answering YES to having a certificate of qualification in Canada (I'm a registered practical nurse). I also scored at least CLB 9 in my IELTS score. Could this be an error? I was hoping to get the 50 points. Is it because only certain occupations that require licensure or certification get the points?

I would really appreciate anyone's input. I only scored 427 (with spouse) overall so I could really use that extra 50 points. :'(

you're not in a trade. nursing is a professional occupation, not a trade. Trades are electricians, mechanics, iron workers, etc -jobs that you qualify for by doing an apprenticeship.

I am CEC applicant and, currently, I am working in NOC A (non trade occupation). However I have a certificate of qualification for NOC 7241 (trade occupation),
I wonder if I can claim for the point of this certificate, If I am not currently on that occupation?
I know that the certification is only for trade occupations, but I tried one time and saw a raise on my CRS point!!!

Hi @CEC321. I m in a similar situation. I have job in Noc 2211 but i have certificate if qualification in 9243. Did you get any points back then ? What was the result ?
