I have a about 5 years of experience as a power plant operator and my job description matches with 9241 NOC code. I can only apply for Federal Experience class as of now. So far according to my search, 9241 is not regulated profession any where in Canada. Does this mean I will not get certification of qualification and i already do not have a job offer, hence I will lose points in CRS score or eligibility??

Require help from you guys in my particular case, apparently no one has any info about it.

Certifications of qualifications are only for trades. So you are right - you will not get points for a certificate of qualification.

But the NOC category is for trades. But it is not regulated
I think I am in same boat with you. I possess a bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering and over 12 years experience as a Power Plant Operator in a Petrochemical Plant. if i may ask, how far with your application?

I also have a degree in Mechanical Eng. I have 24 yrs experience in a 800 MW Gas Turbine Power Plant and Electric Utility ranging from Trainee Eng to Project Manager. I am willing to start as an Operator and work on getting my certification
