I was sent at age 16 by myself to Canada to file a refugee claim due to something that prompt my departure from my home country. I entered Canada without any valid documentations so I was inadmissible. That being said, I was under a removal order. This was put on hold because of the refugee claim I filed. I didn't quite understand all those immigration terms at that age. Long after, I learned that I was given 30 days to leave Canada voluntarily or else my departure order was going to become a deportation order. I didn't know that. Plus, I had no control over my actions. They said I wouldn't be sent home yet because of waiting for the refugee claim decision. So I did stay until it got rejected, and I knew so much by then. I knew how in trouble I was with the law. The sad thing is that my parents sent me to protect me and now that I know what " I " did, I feel very sad, because now I have a lifetime ban. I came in 2010. All the time I did nothing wrong. I did leave when they told me to do so ( I was 18 at that time, much more knowledgeable of my surrounding and the consequences). I never went underground. I left through the AVRR program. They said they were going to send me those documentations, but its been 4 months right now, and I need my original documents. Should I be worried about it? The lady said herself she was going to send them. She said it.
