My application was startet June 6. For a proof of citizenship, Im born outside of canada In manila, I asked for an update from our consular in manila and this is what they sent me.
“Per information from Case Processing Center-Sydney, they confirm that the application is in process. The child’s application has been forwarded to Program Support for review. It has been placed in queue for assessment by a senior officer because of a policy or legislative issue pertaining to the case. Please note that an application referred to Program Support are considered non-routine and, therefore, may take longer to process. IRCC cannot provide processing times for these more complex and labor-intensive cases that vary case by case.
Further note that our office does not have access to the application’s case status. We will notify you should we receive updates/request for additional documentation from the Case Processing Center.”
