Hi,
I was born in the UK and my mother was born in Canada. I am currently filling in an application to get my Certificate of Canadian Citizenship but have come across something which may cause an issue.
My mother still to this day has a Canadian passport even though permanently living in the UK. But does not have a record of her citizenship (her certificate) which is required in section 8 in the 'Certificate number' field.
She has her Canadian passport aswell as her short and long form birth certificate, should this be enough to provide along with the application or would she need to apply for her certificate before I can?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
