Is there any gap between studies?? if its not then its good, if u have that cn be problem

now on your question:
There will be no problem, whatever you studied here, either 12th or B.tech. you can easily get visa. I have done Btech in Electrical n Electronics, and diploma in ECE and going for 2 yrs diploma in electronics engg. tech. and I got visa for the same.

the main things you have to keep in your mind:
1. whats your purpose of study ( come back to home or stay there and apply PR)
2. course selection ( course should be related to your previous study i.e. ECE)
3. If u want PR there, your course should be min. 2 yrs

Your profile is good, just select course according to your profile :)

thanks for the reply.....No there is no gap between the studies...i have completed my btech in aug 2012.

1. purpose of study is the latter one
2. applying for a networking course...coz i believe its part of ece :-X
3. 2 yr course will be PGD but i'm applying for certificate course..

thanks for clarifying my doubt. :D

If your purpose is PR, Then go for a 2 yr Course, You can face problem of adequate work experience for applying PR after 1 yr experience.

I believe the case is different in Saskatchewan...with 1 year course we get 1 year work permit....if study is in Saskatchewan then only 6 months of full time job is required for PR...but if studied in other province then 1 year full time work has to be shown.

thats why i'm considering 1 year course ($_$) ;D

You need 6 months of post study experience in all provinces, except under CEC where you need 1 year of work experience.
