Getting the certificate of selection is just the first step (though very crucial so congrats on that part ). You must now apply for residency at the federal level. again, check cic website. Once you gather all of the documents needed (per the checklist) they will be sent to Centralized Intake Office in Nova Scotia. If your file is deemed incomplete in any ways, it will be returned to you. If the file is assessed as complete, it will be forwaded the your applicable VO (visa office). The VO will do all background and security checks and send medical requests to you before asking for your passport for visa stamping if everything goes smoothly (no additional docs need, police certificates submitted, passed medical exams and no security or background check problems). The processing time for this process varies from once visa office to another. Again, check the CIC website for more details.andy2011 said:so you are saying processing in my country is going to begin after this has been sent to them??
Okay...it's clearer now. You didn't mention the federal application in your previous post. The e-cas status shows that it's been worked on. What is your visa office? Give timeline of your submissions for clearer estimation...maybe you can follow along others from same VO to get better idea.andy2011 said:@ ayinka well its is just Certificat de sélection du Québec becuase my dad applied for me and my ecas status says application recieved on october medicals recieved ...my dad is canadian but lives in quebec so he got forms to fill on the Certificat de sélection du Québec and filled and sent it and recently got an email on tuesday saying it has been accepted and a copy has been posted to my home visa office
