Are International students who entered Canada on Jan 2020 eligible for CERB ? The rule says you should have earned $5000 in the previous year but it can also be outside Canada, does that mean we should have filed taxes in Canada for the $5000 earned outside ?

When did you work in Canada and when did you lose your job in Canada? Was the job loss due to covid? When did you start your studies and have you been a full-time student?

Started working in March 2020, Job was part time and yes lost due to COVID. Studies started only Jan 2020 and yes full time student.

Can you prove you earned 5K in the last year? How many hours did you work before stopping? Do you have an ROE? Why are you asking about this now?
