For individuals with doubts regarding receiving CERB with expired SIN/Permit:
1. Yes, you can receive CERB.
2. I've also heard that in some cases you may also be able to keep working depending upon your employer. But you will have to stop working if IRCC does not approve your application*.

I am in very same situation, my Work Permit and Sin expires at the end of April (and then I will be on implied status). I got Cerb for this month but Im wondering if I should already apply for the next month (while my Sin is still valid) or it is too early? Will I be able to apply in May with expired SIN number? Is anyone in similar situation and maybe have called and asked and wants to share some info? I would appriciate it! Thanks

my friend had implied status. He applied through CRA and got it.Apply through CRA. My friend has got it.
Getting CERB doesn’t actually mean you qualify. Everyone is getting approved and CRA will make you pay back later if you didn’t actually qualify.Y f

You need to give more information about whether you lost your job due to covid, do you have ROE that says you were laid off?!, did you earn over 5k?, etc.hello! Can someone with implied status explain how to apply because I have a lot of problems with? Thanks in advance
