Note that you will need to convert your super visa to a study permit in order to be able to study in Canada. You cannot study on a super visa.
Thanks Scylla ..... I truly appreciate your response - what about my age and old vintage degree and education - hope it does snot affect my chances of getting admitted into this course ..... Yes - you should expect that your age may make it more difficult for your study permit to be approved. You will need to prove that you are a genuine student and that you aren't just using the study permit as a way of getting to Canada.

If the program is less than six months, then you will not qualify for a study permit, you will not be able to work while you study and you also will not qualify for a work permit once you finish your studies. If you want to be able to work, you need to pick a full time program that is at least 8 months long.

Dear Scylla ..... thanks so much for your kind attention .... am obliged ..... 1..... Well if I am sponsored for PR and application accepted then such issue of using the study permit as a way of getting to Canada. should not concern the authorities ..... 2.... the program is more than 6 months (2 semesters/1 year) .....

well my idea is do two years of study in phases - either 1..... one year study and then work - and then one more year of study and work one yr ......OR study one year - extend study to second year for a diploma and get 3-yrs to work - its possible ..... and then I will have utilised my time well and also got my PR

give me your opinion what should I do - either do as I plan or Visit Canada on need basis and wait for PR ..... I start action end of this year or next year so I have enough time ..... thanks and regards

Your posts are difficult to understand and it doesn't sound like you have a very good understanding of Canada's immigration rules. If you are in Canada on a study permit, your studies have to be continuous. It's illegal to take a break in the middle of your program to work for a year. Also, you can only get a post graduate work permit once. This means that if you complete a program that is a year long and then work for a year after that on a post graduate work permit again - you can never get another post graduate work permit. Even if you study another year and complete another program, you will not be able to work for a year after that because you will have already had a PGWP once.

Dear Scylla - thanks for detailed reply - I now understand that i must complete two year course for 3-yr work permit and that PGWP can be given only once ...... what if a person goes to his native country and comes again for study then will his previous issue of PGWP come in way of his being denied same ..... thanks for your valuable advise - regards
