math and english test are for assessment, if u fail its ok, they just want to see how is ur math and english skills.

if u have low scores, u will get into a lower level of subject on 1st semester, but if u get high score, u will be in the higher level of the subject on 1st sem.

Okay... then i suppose there is nothing to worried about. ;)
Thank for the information..

Hi,

I have a degree in Civil Engineering and working with an IT industry from 2.5 years.

I have applied for Centennial and Seneca.

Can somebody please tell what are my chances considering I have a varied work ex?

Should I go for general Project Management or IT specific project management?

Am I late for the Jan 13 intake?

I am not an IT expert but I also applied for Centennial - Project Management and was declined an offer as the course is only meant for the people with Technology background. - So having an engineering degree in a non IT area could be a tricky thing. But still you have IT experience so it could work for you as well. Definetly worth a try. You should apply for a generic project mgmt as it wud up ur chances.

Centennial did give me an unconditional offer letter in 12 days for a more suitable program for me - Research & Analytics.

I would say apply to a lot of courses and colleges and keep your options open.
They always look if the course you choose is complementing your education or past experience. So even if college gives u an offer the VISA ppl mite refuse it later on.

Lastly, u r not late for JAN intake, hoping u wud have ur IELTS score with u ready, if not, that takes a month. plus other formalities.
Wats ur status ??
IELTS ready ??

anyone (indian) want to share accomodation near progress campus? im living right now with 6 people, its too much, maybe living with 2 more people is fine. :)

Thanks for the reply dude.

I am just taking a chance with Centennial and Seneca. I met someone here from Civil background who had studied at Centennial, but unlike me he had experience in civil. Will my experience in IT work against me?
I will be having my IELTS result on 11th of this month. Have applied without scores and will provide them the scores once it is ready.

Why was your application rejected? Whats your educational background?

They didnt reject it like that.
They have a representative office in Bangalore, so those guys only advised me that I should not go for this course.
So they didnt send it thru..

I googled for the reviews on Centennial and the reviews were BAD. Is it really bad or what?
