hi!!! tanong ko lang kakadating ko lang dito nung Nov. yung passport ko mag eexpire na sa december 2013 pero yung contract ko dito 2 years ngayon yung visa ko hanggang nov. 2013 lang pano nga mag eexpire na passport ko sa dec. ask ko lang sana pano ko mapapaextend yung sa visa ko? ano mga kelangan ko ipasa? btw dito pala ko sa alberta calgary

If you have an LMO with 2years employment contract indicated, and your Work Permit only valid until the validity of your passport you may:
Step 1: renew your passport in PCG Vancouver or in any philippine consulate in canada. (your passport will be release approximately 1-2mos)
Step 2: When you already have your new passport, You can now extend your work permit up to the date or year where your employment contract is valid.
You don't need a new LMO. you can extend your work permit via online at CIC.ga.ca
you will only need to provide/scanned copy of your new passport,OLD LMO valid for 2 years or so., and your Work permit which is you wish to extend.(for attachment purpose) and also credit card for the fees.
Note: there will be a remarks in your new extended Work Permit
Remarks: LMO#: xxxxxxxxxx Valid for 2 Years
Renewal of Passport. Work permit issued to valid 2 Years.
